If you have another Fusion Core in your inventory when depleting the current one, the Power Armor will automatically consume it. When a Fusion Core is depleted, you may continue to use the Power Armor in a slower state. It requires great Strength in order to be able to use and needs a Fusion Core to power it. Power Armor is Armor in Fallout 4 that is an energized suit.
